On Wednesday we had some really special visitors come to work with us. Tim and Bridget came in to teach us about Egyptian music and dance.
Tim showed us lots of different instruments and played each one so we could hear what they sounded like. After that we either learnt a special dance, or a new drum song.
We had to learn how to hit the drum to make different sounds, either by bouncing or holding our hands on the drum. These two notes have special names, doom and tak.
The dance had lots of different steps to learn but Bridget helped us by telling a story through the moves, we liked being the camels the most!
We then invited all our families and friends to come and watch our performance, it was tricky to remember it all but so much fun to do the show!
