Miss Foster, Jackie and fifteen children from an array of year groups were very excited to discover that we would be going to Acland Burghley for our mystery Day for Change activity. We found out that we would be doing something called mixed media art and couldn’t wait to get started!

When we arrived we met Veronica who works for the Tate Gallery and also makes props for theatres! She showed us some examples of her work and explained that we would be making clay puppets. She then taught us how to use the clay and the tools to make some amazing creations! We had great fun, learnt lots and we were so proud to show off our puppets to everyone back at school!
