After our amazing experience beekeeping at Wick Court, we have been buzzing about these fascinating creatures and their complex lives within their hive.

We decided to create giant bees to hang in our classroom – working in threes to make a newspaper structure of the head, thorax and abdomen before using paper-mache, straws and paint. Next week we will create our gauzy wings and then they will be suspended around the classroom! Do pop in to take a look!
