Light and Dark

Year 1 had a Magic Lantern workshop – it took us on a journey into some famous paintings!

We looked at how the artist used dark and light.

We located shadows in the paintings – and discussed what time of day it was and where the sun would have been.

We imagined what the scene would have looked like during the day or night.

It was like stepping into a painting and discovering the world inside!
