What an amazing day in Year 1!  When I arrived in class this morning, one chick had already decided he’d waited long enough and was out!  Then we witnessed another 2 chicks hatch during the day.  Just before I left, another one had made a break for it so we are up to 4 chicks!  They are making lots of lovely noises and drying off their feathers.  We couldn’t believe how much they grew in a few hours and that they can walk almost straight away!  Very different to humans!
