Inspired by our recent trip to the British Museum, Year 2 decided that we wanted to create our own sculptures… out of soap!!

After a discussion of Ancient Greek sculpture we looked closely at photographs. We discussed the detail and precision of the sculptors.

Carving out of soap was quite tricky but VERY fun!

By the end of the session we had created our own soap sculpture museum!
