Today, Year 2 travelled back in time to an Ancient Greek agora! Imagining a day in Athens, the children experienced many of the crafts of the marketplace, making some excellent mosaics, oil lamps and ink painted tiles! In the afternoon, we travelled to the theatre to put on a glorious production featuring a play, a dance and a soldiers’ march!

A great day was had by all and our knowledge of the battles between Athens and Persia has been greatly increased!
