Jake and Kal were walking across a dry dusty desert. This was all because half way across the desert they had fallen out of a truck on the way to a refuge camp, clothes tattered and torn, faces rubbed with grime. Just as they thought they were going to die, they saw a little puddle of water and an animal lying dead next to the shimmering circle of liquid.
However there was one problem, how could they divide it?
After a lot of discussion they decided they must share it between them.
In the end they managed to make it home all thanks to their
skills and intelligence.
Three of the fastest cyclists in the world met, their names were Sir Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish and Tom Williams. They met at the top of a mountain in Spain and someone said “Ready Set GO” they were off. First Sir Bradley was in front. Then Mark Cavendish tried to take the lead and Bradley let him about ten miles later. Tom said the finish is at the top of the hill the farthest away. They all started to sprint. Then Bradley said the prize is only £100 so when they crossed the finish line it was a draw so they shared it.
Dear Mama,
Living here isn’t that bad at all. I miss you both terribly and I am so sorry that things couldn’t be the way you wanted. Sometimes things just turn out differently and this is just one of them. You and little Flossy never leave my heart and I shall never forget that day with the cake. There was just one small slice of cake given to you by a friend, and despite the fact you were starving hungry you split it into three pieces. One for each of us. Remember, I love you.
I was walking on the pavement with my brother Ben.
I noticed a small rock, with something green under it.
I lifted the rock and there was £1,000 underneath.
I shared it with Ben, and we wanted different things.
I wanted a ping-pong table and a play station four.
Ben wanted a goal with a net and a basketball hoop
Ben took me shopping to get all the things.
Ben and me had fun purchasing all the items we wanted.
Ben hired a small truck to carry our stuff in.
Ben and me, never acted spoilt to get more again.
One of the best days of my life, I said “We shared it”. This is how the story starts, so listen up. One day when I saw my cousins that were staying over, they brought some gifts for us and were delighted to see us happy. We spoke together and laughed together, we were having a brilliant day. Unfortunately, the day ended, so we had to go to bed, but I didn’t mind because we could have lots more fun the next day!!! We woke up for breakfast and I was about to go, but I saw one of my cousins upset. I was going to find out what was the problem. He lost his teddy bear and wanted to find it. We found it on his bed and were so happy.
Wayne was a nasty boy, whose daily routine was to take toddler’s dummies when their parents were not looking and throw them in the bin. Wayne did not like girls, vegetables, or school, but the thing he did not like most was sharing. One night, Wayne had a dream about eating a big piece of cake. He refused to share it with his friend. Suddenly his friend transformed into a pink monster that liked to eat vegetables (and boys) and ate him in one gulp. Wayne woke up from his dream. He was horrified and never refused to share again.
We shared a cradle, we shared a doll
We shared a window, we shared a football goal
We shared a wii, we shared a guitar
We shared a pillow, we shared some willow
We shared the joy, we shared the fame
We shared the snow, we shared the rain
We shared a job, we shared a car
We shared the motor way, we shared the holidays
We shared the blame on the holidays
We shared the tank, we shared the gun
We shared the bullet, we shared the wound
We shared the death wound forever more
THE END
Once upon a Tuesday there lived a little girl called Esme who was moving to Italy with her two sisters Abby and Chloe, her mum and her dad. She only found this out on the eighteenth of September eighteen eighty six. It was only ten days until her birthday and she was very excited, but when she heard the news that they were leaving on the seventeenth of September she didn’t want to go but she new that she had no choice. She was most worried about the cake she was going to share with her friends.
Once there was a little girl called Rachel who had two older brothers called Sam and Joe and in a day she was turning 11. Rachel was having a birthday party, she was inviting all 8 girls to it. Rachel was doing a trampoline part. That night she made a cake, and put a sweet on every slice. When everyone had a slice of cake there were some sweets that we seared out them! But someone did not get one so very nicely they gave it to her “thank you” and after that they played party games. “Thanks!” said everyone.
I was walking home with my friend Jack when I saw a man with a whole van of sweets and he gave us one: one small orange coloured sweet that was only for one of us. Him or Me. Who would give the sweet over? I haven’t ever tried an orange sweet but neither has Jack. Who would sacrifice the sweet? Finally I let him have it and stomped off home in a bad mood but even so I had just done something I had never done before…Not even dreamed I would do with a sweet. I had shared.
“I’m freezing” I yelled over the wind,
“So am I!” shouted my cousin.
“Well I did tell you both to put your jackets on,”
answered my aunt.
It had been a hot and sunny day but now
the wind was howling, the air was bitingly cold
and dark clouds loomed over head.
My cousin and I stood there shivering until
a booming voice came out of nowhere.
“I hear two little girls are a bit cold over here.”
My dad handed me the jumper smiling and we climbed in.
We were a warm two headed monster!
My twin and I are exceedingly smart. I am not bragging nor boasting, merely stating a fact. We are the only 5 year olds who know how to spell “necessary”, know the capital of Mongolia and we know what the only letter which appears at the start of a country’s name is. The only thing we do not understand is sharing. For example, in the holidays I wanted to tour the castles of France. My brother wanted to tour the castles of Italy. Our parents came to the conclusion that we should tour the castles of Spain, a compromise that satisfied nobody. Reader, we shared the pain.

Danny…it is ‘Ben and I’, not ‘Ben and me’! Just a comment… no hard feelings! üüü

The ‘Shared’ Book
By Louis Sayers
“It’s MINE!!”
Me and John had been fighting over ‘Alex Rider’ for 10 minutes.
“It’s mine! I left it here a year ago!”
“Well then why did I get it from the library?”
“I left it there!”
“Yeah right.”
suddenly miss Stevenson strolled over to us. We groaned.
“Well, well, well. What is it this time boys? D3S games?”
“It’s 3DS” corrected John.
“Same O same O.”
We rolled our eyes.
“Well if it isn’t 3DS games or whatever, what is it?”
“A book, miss”
Silence hung in the air.
“Well in that case…”
Miss Stevenson took the book from John’s hand and ripped it down the centre and gave us half each.
“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!” Miss Stevenson grinned.
Haha! However,
I’d never rip a book!
I never knew she had a side that hated books that much!

Nice work!
