What a beautiful Gloucestershire Autumn day from start to finish! Today we have farmed, cooked, orienteered and learnt all about bee keeping!
Enjoy the pictures of the beautiful Autumn morning (“I wish I could take a picture with my eyes” – Leo) and our eggsploits at the egg farm (“This is the coolest thing I’ve ever done!” – Nell).
UPDATED PHOTOS: I have included some photos of the bee keeping session as well as some of the beautiful pizza creations! Michael’s salad was a particular favourite of mine!
What a beautiful October morning!! I hope you are all dressing sensibly and wrapping up warmly …. This message is especially for Teagan, who it looks like he is wearing only a T-shirt under his waterproofs in yesterday’s pictures! Sending you lots of love, cuddles and kisses … missing you terribly!!
Joe’s coat zip broke so he borrowed a black one from Wick Court!
Those chickens look happy! The one on Nell’s head really suits her. I’m back in London and really looking forward to seeing a picture of you, with or without a chicken on your head xx
Lovely pictures and looks like you had fun with the chickens – it liked your hat Nell! See you soon. Xxx
Wow! Dawn light, sunrise, rising mist – so mysterious – it looks incredible, people! I would love to hear the sounds of the countryside at that time. I am really impressed at all the fearless chicken handling…they have pretty bony feet, as I’m sure you all found out!! Great to see the photos, thanks.
I keep forgetting to send love to Roisin…here it is…& good to see you having such a great time…xxxx
Oh what a BEAUTIFUL morning! I’m so glad you’re getting some sunshine, chaps, well done on handling the rainy days so brilliantly. I’m imagining you having omelettes for tea with all those yummy fresh eggs! Have great fun today xx

So, today is your last day; what a huge adventure it has been! One day you will read a book by George Orwell called ‘Animal Farm’ where the animals, led by the boar, decide to take over the farm where they live – so beware Mr Farmer! See you tomorrow Maya, bom viagem – love Vovo
Mmmm, pizza looks yum 🙂 Can’t wait to see you, Lola, and to hear everything about your week. Hope you enjoyed reading your letters from us here at home. (Mine was written after reading Elodie ‘Ottoline’ – which kind of explains things!) Yours made me smile a lot. See you very soon. Lots of love Dad
