Imagine my surprise when I saw your pictures of the garden museum. When I was at school we used to go to St Mary’s Church at the end of term. The last year I was there we had to go somewhere else because bits of the ceiling were falling on our heads! It was going to be demolished but was rescued and turned into The Tradescant Trust, named after two brothers buried in the churchyard.Captain Bligh of the Bounty is also buried there and there is a house a bit further along Lambeth Road with a blue plaque with his name on it.
I saw on the website that it has one of the best museum cafes in the world, according to EP Masterchef’s Giles Coren!
Mr Gibson
I liked the museum because they made letters out of the plants.
I really liked bow shaped hedges!
Amy
my favourite thing in the garden was trying to find the letter T in the hedges!
I enjoyed putting the sunflower seed into the takeaway cup and I enjoyed drawing the bags and making the drawings from the plants to put on the bag.

I liked planting the sunflowers and I also enjoyed finding out about what a knot garden is.
