I’ve tried Countdown using the link and, honestly, you just need to try it. It’s so fun! It really challenges your brain. You could even ask your mum/dad to try and play after you’ve told them the rules, or when they get better play against them! After I had had about eight goes…guess what?! I solved it! (By the way the answer was PROOFER and the letters were : A P O E O R R E F). I was ecstatic! Next time I’m gonna try and do it again. If you try hard you could too! If it’s your first time playing at home, good luck and enjoy!
I played countdown quite a few times, but I think the last one was the best success. I got the vowels E, E,O and the consonants G, V, W, L, S, J. There were many interesting words including: SEE, JEWELS, GLOVES, VOWELS, WOLVES, AND EEL.
I played the Countdown game and all of the words had at least 2 vowels in them. except 1 – cow
I really enjoyed playing Countdown. There were some words that I didn’t even know. I think that it is a fun game. I was only introduced to it by the school – I didn’t know about it before. One time, we got “guise” and it was the longest word possible.
I think you’re definitely correct, Assia. I’ve learnt so many new words from this fun game! Do any of you guys know the answer to this : is the aim of the game to try and get as many words as you can, or to get the longest word? ‘Cause I’m still quite confused about that. And, also, do you think that,’WOOFS’,is a word? I don’t think so… It came up as an answer out of WKFKUOOSK.
I’ve tried Countdown again and it’s as fun as ever! But I have a question… Out of EPEMOBIME, POMMEE was the longest word you can get. But is Pommee a word and what does it mean? If you can find out for me, post it and thank you!
I’ve played Countdown again, and really, it’s just so insanely fun! Out of TEELPUOCK I had COUPLET, and it was the longest word! I was so happy. I told you I was going to do it again, on my first post. I had a look and I found another seven-letter word – EELPOUT. And as before, is eelpout a word and what does it mean? (It sounds a bit fishy)! If you can find out for me, post it and thank you!
Did you like my pun Mr.Gibson and others? Or is it so bad that you can’t even get it…? But if you do, laugh with me and hahaha!
