1. original octonauts
(mum typing ->) “because of the way you have to turn the book around to look at the different drawings.”
2. oi dog
(mum typing ->) “I like how Frog changes the rules and think it’s funny that Cat has to sit on gnats.”
Gnats would be quite tickly to sit on wouldn’t they!
My favourite story is Billy Goats Gruff. I love the bit where they get across the bridge to the green meadow!
I love the Billy Goats Gruff too, especially the naughty troll!
My favourite book is the Arsenal Official Handbook 2018/2019. I like it because I like football and I play football sometimes, you need to practice football a lot to score lots of goals.
What a great non-fiction book. I bet it’s full of fantastic football facts!
1. What the ladybird heard, because I think it’s funny that the ladybird never says anything.
2. Mrs Wobble the Waitress, because it’s funny when she drops the food and the children come and rescue it on their roller skates.
3. Wow says the owl because when the owl sees the rainbow she says ‘Wow! Said the owl’.
Great choices Maya. I love it when Mrs Wobble catches the jelly in a net!
My favourite book is Not On The High Street. My mum reads it to me almost every night. My favourite part is when she goes to the sweetie shop and the flower shop where she doesn’t get roses but she gets flowers when she gets to the gate.
Oooh that sounds like a great story! We’d love to read it in class if you bring it in too show us.
One of my favourite books I like to read are the Disney princess book’s, I like the magical fairy tales, the stories told offer hope and inspire strong female lead characters, I also like their dresses, they are very beautiful.
Excellent ! We love strong girls in Reception!
I love the Meg and mog books because she flies and she makes spells.
I’m a big fan of Mog because i have a cat just like him!
I like Paddington Bear’s stories because I like cuddly toys. My favourite story is “Paddington at the Zoo”. It is so funny how the animals at the zoo ate all Paddington’s sandwiches when his photos were taken. They even ate the sandwich bag. Poor Paddington!!
Paddington stories are such fun. I love his ‘hard stare’!
