This week’s 100 Word Challenge is inspired by our fantastic trip last week – with memories to last a lifetime!
Remember – the challenge is to write 100 words (no more, no less!) inspired by the prompt. You can write anything – a poem, a story, a recount…just make sure you proof-read for spelling and grammar slips!
I can’t wait to read them,
Miss T x
Ah, Wick Court… all those lovely memories! It’s so hard to choose one! Though I guess getting chased by a cow was a good experience that I probably won’t forget. But I can’t forget about how EVERY TIME after we all showered, there would be a MASSIVE puddle of water in our dorm. Until one day, after working out on the farm, apparently someone cleaned it up!! Yet, it still leaked… Anyway, I hope we all remember the berry fight we had on a ‘Sunday walk!’ And before that some us girls, had a pear fight! Good, old Wick Court!
WICK COURT MEMORIES
Wick court was so, fun way better than Sayers croft kinder because we had less food but wick court had way better amount of food. The hospitality is AMAZING they are super duper kind. I was like an animal lover except from 1, the Bee, coach martin kept winding me up cause I got stung he said Buzzzzzz, which scared me, which was annoying but he is coach martin. Well the way I got stung which I later found out was because I was right next to a hive and they thought I was harming the queen.
Oldbury farm is a wonderful place. All the cows, everyone loves Oldbury. Well it’s nice except for the smell. Now we go to feed the calves. SUCKY! Everyone will shout as we step inside. They run up to her letting her suck away at their finger. Then there’s Batman, Valentine the cow and even Number Seven which yes does have a seven on its head. After all that we go to the cow hotel where we tend to the cow buffet, fresh grass or silage. Yum! Then there is Eleanor the cow who eats neon jackets. Oh we love Eleanor.
It was nearly my turn to play the daring cereal box game. When it was i dove into the splits
And tried to get hold of the box, sadly i failed. Second attempt, this time i approached from a different angle i did a lunge and quickly snatched
the box with my teeth. i had done it! i was so proud of myself and so exited to had done it that i burst with joy!
It was awfully so quiet when it was someones turn
Everybody who was there really enjoyed the game and were very happy that splendid night.
My fave memory at Wick Court was when me and Toshi were sheep walking partners and we named our sheep Huppa and he was really fluffy and I kept on smacking his butt so he ran off really fast, and we had to run to catch up with him and then, we kept on bribing him with fresh lush juicy green grass so he would do the cone course although we were rubbish anyway because he went in the wrong way but then we had to give him an enormous hug good bye because we had to leave him, sadly!!!
Wick Court Memories
A countryside mansion far, far away
With lovely dorms to sleep,
A wake up call a little too loud
But a beautiful scene outside.
Before breakfast a whiff of the dragon,
Then feeding Buttercup, Jone, Ash and Biscuit
The Marrons and legbars too.
On Sunday brings a long walk,
With lots of selfies along the way.
All through the week we get food at its best,
Pizza, Breakfast and more.
Games in the parlour with Miss Frood,
Magic tricks cards and ninja
It’s sad to leave at the end of the week,
I would love to come back for more.
My Wick Court memories are some of the best I have ever had. I loved it so much. Every single member of staff looked after me so well and made me happy. I loved every task so much, but I am so sad I didn’t go on the walk. The Wick Court staff helped me to conquer my fears, for example I did beekeeping and I am terrified of bees. I also made an animal friend it was a sheep named Woolly, who had a bad foot, I walked her down the drive way and she is a beautiful sheep.
so fun!!!!
I am Huppa, in the pen with all the other injured sheep nibbling at the ropy grass trying to get every last bit of nutrients from the far enriched substance, that the humans expect me to eat. The worst time of the week is when the children come and wake me from my nap, then they tighten these horrible head and neck collars around me. The next step of this torture is possibly the worst part, they walk me up the recognisable drive, all the while my wool tearing out and the rope of the collar rubbing against my skin.
Wick Court
In wick court I have so many amazing memories that I will never forget. Just one of these brilliant memories is when I groomed the horses, I learnt so much like if you go past a horse from the front of it it’s most likely to kick you, plus it was so fun grooming the horses. When I woke up in wick court I was dreading doing a job especially Oldbury, it was worth it for the breakfast, talking about food It was delicious especially the pizza so thank you kitchen staff and all of wick court staff.
My best memories are –
When we Groomed the horses.. Hugo nearly squashed me! When I groomed jack, it was so hard to reach the top of him,he’s enormous!
The games we played were so fun.
In Tim’s garden the plants were so cool and nice to eat.
Also walking the sheep on leads.
Building our dens was soo fun .
One of the best memories was when we got followed by a cow with horns…we later named demon/devil on the way to Oldbrey for first time – from then on I dreading going to Olbrey
They’re the best memories!
