Darkness encased my senses like a snake suffocating its pray. I stood oblivious of everything, anything and everyone. Yet there I stood engulfed in nothingness. Unable to move, see or speak: alone. Was I dead? Had the world ended? What was happening? Where am I? Where is every one? Were only a few of the questions circling in my mind. Fear controlled me. Terror consumed me. Shock stole me. Determined not to give in, I looked ,but unable to see anything I stood still. Only now I could just make out, could it be,an eerie green glow; but what?
Time was finally free. Nasfenzo had been defeated and the world was free at last. Unfortunately Jeff had been overtaken by greed, but Nasfenzo wasn’t pleased. So he looked until he saw time itself. He asked time to kill Jeff and that’s what he did. After Jeff’s death, Nasfenzo took back the city with the powers of the evil lord and his necromancy. He then took back the castle with his eyeless comrades. Lastly he took dreamland with the digging man. Now they say if you look and see, you can find time and only Jeff’s son can stop him.
Have you ever looked at things really closely? Everyone just rushes and doesn’t think about all of the wonderful things in the world. You never know what you’ll see so just stop running to get somewhere and just look and see at special things you might discover. Take your time unless your in a really hurry, but have ever look at things closely? Like I said in the start you never know so don’t rush and just take your time. You never know you might discover an alien or a monster or a friendly lion. You never know you know!!
“Where is it?” I said frustrated!
“Look and see!” said mum excitedly.
I looked and saw nothing.
The cold was biting at my ears and the wind bowed all the trees in the garden as if they were trying to touch their toes.
“Oh all right then I’ll give you a clue” she sighed “its somewhere over there.”
She pointed towards the massive elm tree, and I set off trying not to be blown away by the gale.
Then I saw it, half enclosed in the twisted roots of the elm.
It sat there glimmering, my wonderful easter egg!
Once there was a kid called Yon Ree and when he was a kid he got bullied. Yet the person who bullied him had a lot in common with Yon Ree and the way Yon Ree stopped it was, he stode up to the bully and when he was getting bullied he would make up raps about how he felt and his rap has got in to Britain’s Got Talent.
When I was on holiday with my step mum and dad they were mean. I took my dog for a walk. I went to the shop. I tied my dog to a poll. I bought a snack, left the shop âwhereâs my dog!â I went back to my mum and told her what happened. Because they were so mean the only thing she said was âlook and seeâ. I didn’t understand so I went to try and find him. I looked, but I didn’t find him. We all had to go. By the car I saw him in the corner.
On Saturday while I was at my dadâs boat I saw a cootâs nest. It looks like a pile of rubbish. It was half made out of plastic bags, a while later I saw a two or three eggs I wasnât sure which. All the time there was one of the coots were sitting on the nest. I went back to my dadâs boat on Tuesday and there was one chick for a moment I thought there was two it had a bald red head like all coot chicks. My dad got out his camera and took photos of them.
It was Christmas and my family were coming over, so as usual mum made me plan the decorations, so I had to trudge up to the attic just to get the Christmas lights. I stepped into the room and as my vision cleared I saw mounds of cardboard boxes and rubbish but still no Christmas lights. After hours of searching I still found nothing, I looked at my watch and saw that I only had minutes left until my family arrived I told myself âlook and see.â I looked down by my feet and there were the Christmas lights!
Open your eyes, look and see,
Iâm hiding here, behind the old, snapped tree,
Looking for a bumble bee,
Looking for a dirty flea
What can you find, Mr P?
Weâre people looking for a bee
But where is it? Can you see?
You say itâs near the rose bush
Itâs there look closely
But now your chance is gone
It flew away into the tree
Right near where the humans walk free
Weâll never find it now will we?
Donât give up never, never, never
You are still a winner
Because you tried
To look and see
If you look you can see,
Argh! A bumble bee,
If you look you can see,
A child! Aged three,
If you look you can see,
Mum! Drinking her tea,
If you look you can see,
The cat! Up our apple tree,
See and look,
My dinner! All warm and cooked.
Watch me as I go upstairs,
With my nice warm bath and cuddly bears,
Waiting for me,
Ready,
To go to sleep!
Look at me,
All cosy in my bed,
And my book read to me: ‘Billy’s Shed!’
Sleepy time,
I close my eyes,
And sleep comes,
As a Surprise!
