It’s so cold and dark in here
And I’m all white with fear
The ice is all around
And there’s a distant buzzing sound
This is life in the deep freeze
So take a bit of me please
I’m stuck on the back shelf
Everyone wants something else
You see I’m feeling a bit off
And I’m frozen from the top
What a stupid silly cow
Made me what I am now
So guess what I am if you can
No, I’m not a piece of ham
I’m half fat and over chilled
I’m a pint of mouldy, semi-skimmed milk
Excellent – very coo.ooool! love milk x
There was no life in the deep freeze, as far as the eye could see. Just ice. It hadn’t always been that way. Once, arctic foxes had lived alongside seals and polar bears. But then, scientists arrived and began to experiment. They created a mutant polar bear who was amazingly clever and very fierce. The bear escaped and quickly ate his way through all of the other animals, even the other polar bears. Then, he moved on to the scientists. They were smart but the polar bear was smarter. Once the scientists were eaten, the bear grew lonely and died.
Life in the deep freeze
Life is cold, life is dreary
It is not fun, it’s kind of weary
You can’t be shy, it’ll stop you cheering
That is why we sit closer
Winds are fast, winds are curious
It’s not sound, cause’ it sounds like it’s furious
You can’t be shy, cause’ it is too dangerous
That is why we have earmuffs
Heat is scarce, heat is rare
It’s not something to make you stare
You can’t be shy, you’ll freeze to death
That is why we need warmth
That is what it is like in the deep freeze
Wind blows
ice cracks
there is no escape
in the deep freeze
Temperatures drop
cheeks glow
it’s hard to get warm again
in the deep freeze
A mug of cocoa
one winter coat
I pull my gloves on
in the deep freeze
Heart pounds
toes are numb
eyelashes frosted
in the deep freeze
the snow fox howls
the polar bear floats
the birds are silent
in the deep freeze
There is no heating
the fire glows
the hot water is gone
in the deep freeze
Here I am in Antartica
trying to live a normal life
in the deep freeze…
Deep Freeze
A hunter walked along the polar ice caps, stepping lightly so he wouldn’t break the thin ice. He scanned the terrain, searching for his target. A white polar bear strolled across the ice, hunting for its prey. The hunter dropped to the ground and took aim. Suddenly a misty figure appeared in the corner of his eye. The hunter took aim again but the figure appeared again closer. It moved closer and closer until it was very close and it shattered the ice around him and he fell to his death.
Don’t kill polar bears or it’ll get you too.
Living in the coldest climate
The people that live in the arctic are called Inuit. They live in one of the coldest climate in the world. They survive by FISHING and hunting in the arctic. They wear clothes made of the skin of the animal that they hunt. To catch a fish is the Arctic the people must dig a large hole in the ice. The ice in very thick so they have to use a spear to break the ice and dig nine feet deep. When they catch a shark they use the dogs to pull it up.
In the deep freeze there are penguins, polar bears, icicles, snow.
In the deep freeze there are icebergs, fierce oceans, seals, fish.
In the deep freeze there are bitter driving winds, grey skies, igloos, icy caves.
In the deep freeze explorers push bravely on and pitch their tent in the frozen snow.
In the deep freeze some carry skins and blankets, some fat sleeping bags for in their little tents.
In the deep freeze I imagine a huge shining mass of ice covering the entire top and bottom of our earth while icy dark waters crash round on all sides.
Animals that live in the arctic include narwhal, orca, walrus and moose. The alaskan malamute is a powerful sled dog from Alaska. This small, white dog lives farther north than any other land animal. This white hare lives in the arctic and has huge hind feet. There is now approximately four million people living in the Arctic.
The Arctic consists of the arctic ocean and parts of Russia, Canada, the USA, Greenland, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Iceland. Temperatures have been recorded in Northern Greenland as low as -70*C!
See, you can live in the Arctic, even in these conditions.
Super Cool!!!
Once there was a boy this boy was no ordinary boy this boy was as small as a pin. And this boy lived in someones freezer! He loved it there it was cold but not to cold, endless supply of food and plays with the peas. Everything was fine until he saw another being as small as him and soon as he looked into her ocean blue eyes it was love at first sight! They spent weeks and dating until the boy asked the girl if they should get married. And they did. They spent their honeymoon in the fridge.
🙂
In the deap freeze it is as cold as anything you could ever imagine. People work to get water. In the deep freeze, how could anyone live like that? Some people might not have shelter or even family they are living in deep freeze is misary you might think winter is cold in England but think about Iceland or Antarctica. We are very very lucky and they arn’t, almost everyday people go hunting for sharks or fish. Almost one person dies per day. Cold cold icebergs break and water starts flowing in which is good in ways or maybe not.
I travel far and long i survive of fish when I’m lonely the penguines never disappoint me I’m always floating and always alone never stop to browse and always looking around and never getting lost if I’m lucky i will get i family if I’m nice i will have a wonderful life.
Life in the deep freeze
Frost beneath my toes, as I am walking through the icy caves. The Northern Lights shimmering on my shaggy back, as I walk through the moonlit sky. Hiding my squinting face, so the frost doesn’t reach my emerald eyes.
My claws, drawing their way through the icy bergs, with my cub at my side, heading to our deep freeze den. The sea starts to settle as my webbed paws sink into the snow, my powerful mussels start to swim with the cub clinging onto my back. We are wet and cold, always wet and cold.
Once there was a boy called Sasha who was coming back from his school to his home in Siberia. But when he came to his street his face was on a wanted poster! Just then someone grabbed him and took him in a police van to a gulag. When he got there he tried to explain that he was innocent ,but he was locked in a cell. The next morning he had to work for his meals, he had to eat gruel and he had to do the same for 8 years until he was free! He was so happy.
LIFE IN THE DEEP FREEZE
33 % of the worlds surface is covered in ice. The ice is still home to many people who survive with amazing hunting strategies that get them food. land mammals are rare so the people must hunt in the sea. An example of this is hunting for muscles under the seas icy surface during low tide. This is very dangers because they might suffocate if the tide came up, and they only have 30 minutes to hunt. During the summer months the sun circles the sky and never dips below the horizon but winters just darkness.
