Wassily Wassilyevich Kandinsky was a Russian painter and art theorist. He was born on the 16th of December 1866 in Moscow. In 1896, Wassily moved to Munich to study fine arts where he discovered his passion for abstracts. He returned to Moscow in 1914, after the outbreak of WWI. Kandinsky had a love for art so strong that he believed it as a form of worship.
During his lifetime, Kandinsky has painted 227 artworks, his best sold for over $20 million. Just before he died, the Nazis confiscated his artworks, put them on display in 1937 before destroying them.
Kandinsky was born on december 4, 1866 in Moscow. He moved to Odessa when he was 5 years old. His father was a tea merchant. He learned how to play the piano and the chello. He studied law and economics at the University of Moscow.
He trained to be a lawyer and also was a designer and photographer. Ever since he was a child had been inspired by music. He painted the first abstract artwork. The Nazis ordered 57 pieces of Kandinsky’s artwork to be taken away. He was a French citizen. He died in 1944.
Kandinsky was born in Moscow, the son of Lidia Ticheeva and Vasily Silvestrovich Kandinsky. Kandinsky learned from a variety of origin while in Moscow. He studied many subjects while in school, including law and economics.
Later in his life, he would remember being interested in colours as a child. In 1889, he was part of a knowledge research group which travelled to the Vologda region. In the summer of 1902, Kandinsky asked Gabriele Mรผnter to join him at his summer painting classes.
Later his life was affected by WWII.He still achieved many goals.
He died on 13 December 1944.

For the other parts of his life he learnt great things, but then he past away December 1944.
In 1922 Kandinsky became a professor at the Bauhaus school in Germany. His art had changed because the shapes he used were more precise than before. Kandinsky became a German citizen in 1928. In 1929 Kandinsky held his first one-man show in Paris. In 1930 he had another exhibition in Paris. In 1931 he produced wall decorations for a large exhibition that was held in Berlin. When the Bauhaus closed in 1932, Kandinsky moved to Berlin. In 1933, that he moved to Paris.
In 1939 Kandinsky became a French citizen. He died on December, 13, 1944 from a stroke.

Wassily Wassilyevich Kandinsky was born on the 16 of December 1866, Moscow, Russia. When he was five years old his parents divorced and he moved to Odessa to live with an aunt.
He began his art career at age 30 at the University of Moscow. After he left he became a professor at the University of Dorpat.
In 1896 he moved to Munich and studied at a private school, then at the Academy of fine arts. He moved back to Moscow at the outbreak of war in 1914. He lived through and died at age 77 in 1944.
Kandinsky was born in 1866 in Moscow, Russia. Before becoming an artist he studied law at University, graduated in 1893, and then taught law for three years. When he turned 30 Kandinsky became an artist. Music inspired him to create new paintings through his career. In 1896 he settled in Munich, went back to Moscow after World War I started and came back to Germany in 1921. When Nazis seized power in 1933, he moved to France where he lived the rest of his life. He became a French citizen in 1939 and died at Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1944.

That was when he realised that making beautiful artwork was his true love. Kandinsky is well known for his most famous painting The Blue Rider. His life was affected by WWI .He died on 13th December 1944. Kandinsky is remembered lots and loved for his beautiful paintings.

He died in 1944.
