Your 100 Word Challenge this week is to write 100 words – no more, no less – based on the prompt – I Have a Dream!
We read Martin Luther King’s biography the other day and learnt about his campaign for the fair and equal treatment of all people and an end to racial discrimination. How will this prompt, taken from his famous speech, inspire you?
I can’t wait to read them!
Miss T
I have a dream that all girls will be allowed to go to school, to lead an interesting life and to publish their ideas. I have a dream that somebody finds a cure for cancer so that people can live a long, rich life with the ones they love. I have a dream that people achieve equality and see no purpose in war. I have a dream that people find a way to source clean, drinking water to poor countries. I have a dream that everyone can have and share their dreams, without the fear of persecution. Keep dreaming.
My hands are growing sweaty as I’m walking to the podium. I know I could be shot dead for doing this but I still keep walking to the podium. Focus, Martin, focus. I still remember the visit to the shoe shop when the keeper wouldn’t serve us because we were black. I have finally arrived at the place, remember your speech Martin. ” I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation”. I have finally started my speech. I hope it will change the future.
I have a dream
When I was just 3 years old I thought there was monsters under my bed. I can hear them, but know one else can because I speak monster and they don’t. Sometimes they might open my door and try to scare me, but I wont let them because I shout MUM really loudly. People say babies just scream in the night all the time because its natural, but that is not right they will come a scare you. When you grow to be 3 like me they zap your brains so you wont remember, but I did.
I have a dream…
I am just a maiden working in a factory with no company. I sweep and clean the floors every day.
I have a dream to have dress. A silver dress with Golden lace. And shoes to be as clear as glass. But of course that is just a dream that can never be true unless you believe from your heart.
I am only a poor old maiden that sweep and clean the floors, with a Dream that can never come true.
But in the corner of her eye, she can see a shoe as clear as glass.
Maybe it wasn’t a dream after all…
I have a dream where the world is at peace and there is no conflict between countries. I have a dream where I can change the world and put an end to all wars. I have a dream where all countries are on the same side. I have a dream where we will all come together. I have a dream where we will be friends, no matter what. I have a dream where we will fight against war, where war will be defeated and peace will spread throughout the world. I have a dream where nobody is suffering and everybody is happy.

I Have A Dream
I have a recurring dream about a science experiment where hydrogen explodes by getting a spoonful calcium hydroxide, a spoonful of sodium carbonate, a small strip of aluminum foil, 4 centimeters of water in the test tube, a small tea light, a basin of water, a rubber stopper, an angled tube and other test tube to capture the gas.
This is actually a test I’ve done and it works but in the dream I add another element that sets off a chain reaction where all weapons of mass destruction are useless and life becomes beautiful again.
I have a dream, to make the world a better place.
I have a dream, that all rights should be respected.
One day everyone will think about what people have done in the past.
People have suffered all their lives, to rescue other people’s lives
I have a dream to change all of this.
I have a dream to stop world hunger.
Kids around the world are dying they need our help!
Bombs destroying lives, no one stopping or helping them.
I have a dream a dream to live.
A dream to save the day.
I have a dream dream.
