Dark damp
Rotting smell
In the corner of the room
No more white
Now gone brown
In the corner of the room
Why are you so damp there?
In the corner of the room
Why do you not speak to me?
Corner of the room
Rot
Damp
Peeling paint
In the corner of the room
Again and again
The corner fades away
Till one day it is no longer there
In the corner of the room
Time is passing very quick
Now it is no longer there
It is found again and now rebuilt
The corner in the room
The corner stood there, in the corner I stood
I had ideas in my mind of running outside
But the corner had trapped me and in the corner I was trapped
Whenever I escaped the corner
He was in the next room
He was waiting for me
He put me inside
The lock was harder now, pushing me in
The lock was harder against my skin
I’ve just escaped
I’m running outside
But the corner is not far behind
I dashed into my door
The corner followed me along the floor
And then, I’m safe.
Jake was finally back in England. It was 8:30 am. After James had nearly been killed, he had been worried about more danger on the way to their destination. They turned the corner and finally saw James’s school. Jake had recently got in, and was excited to get some more friends, as he was an orphan and had hardly any company. But as lots of children came in a plane was flying overhead. It had just dropped a weak bomb, and Jake noticed first. He only had time to pull James and run. They heard a giant explosion behind them…
Three years ago my life was a straight line, no bends or corners just straight but then it all changed.
Lets start from the beginning, that dreaded day when everything changed. It was the Fourth of July I was ten at the time, I can still see the heat rising off the dirt-ridden ground that was my home. Just like any other day I began the long walk to school with an empty stomach. I was born into poverty which had always been apparent to me but I couldn’t imagine my life any different. At least not until the disaster.
In a corner of the universe,
In the corner of the world,
In the corner of the country,
In the corner of the city,
In the corner of the town,
In the corner of the alleyway,
On an old bench,
There sat an old man,
On the corner of the bench,
There sat an old cat.
The cat meowed as the old man grumbled,
And as he got up to leave,
The cat followed him,
To the corner of his house,
Where he sat and purred happily,
As he had earned a corner of the man’s heart.
Corners are in all shapes (except a circle) Corners are measured in angles and different shapes have different internal angles that all the angles add up to regular or irregular.
The triangle’s internal angle is 180 degrees.
The quadrilateral’s internal angle is 360 degrees.
The pentagon’s internal angle is 540 degrees.
The hexagon’s internal angle is 720 degrees.
The heptagon’s internal angle is 900 degrees.
The octagon’s internal angle is 1080 degrees.
The nonagon’s internal angle is 1260 degrees.
The way to work it out is its number of sides –2 times 180 and the answer is its internal angle
My life is a song, my life is a journey
My life is a fairytale, my life is a poem
My life is a story full of adventure
My life is a raging rollercoaster about to fall down
My life is a train ready to depart
My life is a boat riding the waves
My life is a car turning many corners
My life is a battle between good and bad
My life is a fight with happy and sad
My life is a clock running out of battery

one day there was a boy call David. David was 9 years old he wanted a bike so his dad was buying one. He asked “why do we always go past a creepy corner I dunno said his dad. One night he sneaked out of the house and went to the corner. He saw some gangsters smoking and he got scared and ran away back to his house he said ” I am never ever going to the corner again. The next day he came back from school and went past the corner. I am happy that I never go to the corner he thought.
To me corners are deadly. My face seems to be attracted to them. My worst corner, definitely, is sitting in my bedroom attached to a coffee table. When I was three years old I think I had a little sugar rush after dinner and as you might guess it didn’t go too well… jump, smack (not my Mum, but my face and the corner) A&E. After a bit of ketamine and glue I was back in no time.
Actually there might be a worse corner in my bathroom. Slip, slice A&E. seven stitches later I was back in no time
Robert was extremely poor.
On one evening Robert was walking up a street when he saw a light shining round the corner of the road. Robert tried to decide whether he should turn the corner, in the end he did and found out the light was coming from a shop called ‘a-z’s of miracles.’ When he got inside he went to the shelf and took out a book that said ‘how to preform miracles’ Robert opened it and did what the instructions told. He spoke the words of the miracle that he wanted to preform “I want to become a writer.”
They entered the deserted hall. Cobwebs stretched from beam to beam making it seem like they were in a gigantic tent, and in the very center a massive boxing ring. They hurried over to it and examined the disheveled platform. It had a frayed once white rope surrounding it and every corner was as dusty as cellar except not every corner; in one of the corners was a clear white space, a white space that looked surprisingly like a footprint. Just then they heard the door slam shut and a cackle of high pitched laughter, they spun round and froze!
It was a bright day in Spring and Will was sitting outside on a wooden bench enjoying the sunny weather. Suddenly he heard a loud scream and saw a teenage boy running as fast as he could. “He’s stolen my purse” a woman shouted. The boy sprinted around the corner of a gigantic building and crashed straight into a policeman’s arms. The policeman quickly slotted handcuffs on the thief and took him to the police station. “Wow” thought Will. “What a way to get arrested. I hope he learns his lesson and never does that again”.
There was a small shaggy dog he was lost. He lived on the streets. He used to have an owner but he got dumped! The food that he got was from the bins. Where he slept was on the corner of the street. He wore a collar that was dirty and was ripped and on the collar it said Luke. Luke the dog! Every night he would go back and sleep on that corner! A little girl came past the corner. That night he wasn’t on the corner he was clean and at the end of the little girls bed.
It was nil-nil and only 15 minutes left of the game. Like a fire bolt Luc ran had a shot but Tom the other team goal keeper saved it then past to Danny. Then Danny ran down pitch and then Myron kicked it of it was a CORNER. Tom sprinted down to the other end of the pitch to help the attack. William, the teams great corner taker, kicked the ball high into the air. All of the players jumped to head it. Tom jumped the highest and his head just hit the ball into the back of the net.

Every day,
when I walked to and from school,
There was a corner,
A dark, damp corner,
And in the dark damp corner was a tramp,
A tattered,old tramp.
The tramp was friendly,
But others were not friendly back,
They jeered and jostled,
Made jibes were hostile,
All because he was a tramp.
He ate nothing,
And felt nothing,
Just sat around doing nothing for the whole day,
He took the jibes, With no response,
but they carried on jeering.
But one day,
It was gone,
The corner was gone,
The tramp had moved on…
The corner was gone…

Hiya, you have put ‘their’ instead of ‘there’ above, thought you might want to change it. X
Unforgivable of me! I shall put myself into detention! Thanks x
