Today Reception headed off to Kentish Town City Farm.

After reading the 3 Billy Goat Gruff story we were keen to meet some real life goats!

We learnt lots about the farm! All about wheat and making it onto flour. About tortoises having beaks and how chickens and ducks have scales on their legs just like them and they both lay eggs!

We met the week old lambs, saw the pigs, cows, horse and geese…then finally we met the Billy Goats!

Just like the goats on the story we went ‘trip trap trip trap’ on the bridge but luckily there was no troll today!

Just before the walk home we petted the kids (a baby goat) and thanked Farmer Chris for all his help!
