A group of Y6 pupils visited 10 Downing Street on a very special assignment – to interview PM Keir Starmer for Junior PMQs.

After an amazing backstage tour of No. 10, the children took their seats in the briefing room.

Children from around the country quizzed the PM on various issues including housing, antisocial behaviour, the NHS and of course – football.

At the end of the press conference, the Prime Minister turned the tables, asking the children what they liked best about their tour of Downing Street. They discussed the history of the building, including prime ministerial portraits hung on the main staircase and furniture used by Winston Churchill.
