Year 6 have enjoyed two fascinating visits to the Jewish Museum. On our first trip, we learnt all about the Torah and important Jewish traditions, as well as finding out what life was like for Jewish people in Germany in the lead up to World War Two.
On our return visit today, we were so lucky to meet the wonderful Ruth Barnett who came to England in 1939 on the Kindertransport. She told us all about her incredible story and we had some really interesting discussions. Lots of the children are now really keen to read her book!
Have a look at some pictures from our two visits…
