Year 2 stepped back in time to travel by train like The Victorians and visit the historic seaside town of Folkestone. This is a perfect place to remember our Victorian’s leanring from the Spring and also hunt for marine invertebrates on the beach! The weather was kind to us and we explored lots of this beautiful seasdie town. We walked along the old Folkestone Harbour train tracks and station platform inbetween running freely on two empty beaches! The weather turned out to be glorious whilst we did a spot of sea bathing too! We had a blast!!! A perfect mix of education and fun with the gorgeous Year 2 children.
