Over the summer we encouraged our children to rest, get outside, play and have lots of adventures. But we know that a flying start to the autumn term is supported by keeping up the reading habit. Reading provides plenty of adventures for the mind too! We challenged families to read every day over the summer- reading together, bedtime stories, in tents, up trees and to each other. We set an Extreme Reading Challenge – finding unusual places to read – and to share these. Thank you to all the families who accepted our challenge!
