It was brilliant to have three weeks with the fantastic Year 5!
We spent our first session exploring the different habitats on Hampstead Heath – which involved lots of tree climbing, skimming stones on the pond, exploring woodland and walking around Kenwood House!
Our second session was the obstacle course challenge – and it was much harder than we thought! We located 15 posts – more than Year 6 (10 posts) and Susie’s personal best – 12 posts! The adventure took us over four hours and right around the Heath!
Our last session was a camp building task – and we smashed it! We worked as a team and used all the natural resources available – top marks for an excellent camp!
We really enjoyed time to explore, talk, enjoy the sunshine, take in the views of London – and amazing clouds – and use maps!
