Inspired by the art gallery at St Paul’s we have made our own alternate coloured landmark. We looked at the simple shapes of different buildings and got used to the lines of the landmark by drawing over the top of photos. We then looked through a viewfinder to focus in on a small part to help us simplify the image.
Once we had our drawing, we worked on colour mixing and tone of the same colour to add shading to create a 3D effect and perspective.
Finally we added some extra detail using sharpies to define the lines and edges of our work!
Mounted on complimentary colours we are very proud of how they look!
