Today we learnt about air resistance and how parachutes work. We also learnt about the history and evolution of parachutes and have designed our own in teams. The children have drawn specifications for their parachute which will need to bring an egg safely to land from the top of the tower. We thought about the shape, rigidity, material and size of the parachute and next week, we will start construction!
