As an end of term treat after so much fantastic learning about the Victorians, Year 3 were lucky enough to sleep in school on Friday night! In preparation, we spent Friday afternoon baking plum duffins – a delicious Victorian Christmas treat – which we enjoyed that evening with a mug of warming hot chocolate.
At the sleepover, we created fun Victorian-inspired crafts before watching a film adaptation of Charles Dickens’s fantastic novel – A Christmas Carol. We will be learning more about this text over the next week at school. Have you managed to call anyone a Scrooge yet, Year 3?
