What a day and evening! Dr Xand from Operation Ouch on CBBC dropped in! We launched rockets; made the world’s longest automaton; made living slime, strawberry DNA extraction, iron filings-from Bran flakes extraction and a host of other experiments that we shared at Science Night! Dan from the Royal Institution did 3 fantastic shows – including an explosive one to families in the evening. A brilliant week. Thanks to everyone involved.

We had a party in the Lab for grown ups on Wednesday night to thanks all the builders and architects too.
