I didn’t meen to kill her. It was like somebody had taken over me, possessed my mind. I hid her under my bed, because I know that nobody would look there. It’s tactics; hide someone in a obvious place and nobody will search there. Any minute now the police will come. They won’t look under the bed. I cross my fingers. What if they do? Do I deny that it was me? Or do I show them the gun with the lost bullet and pretend that I just found it? If they find it, don’t say I didn’t warn them.
Dear Diary,
After this last entry, I must feed you to the flames, for I fear for my life. I woke up, as usual and went down for breakfast. Eggs and bacon, my favourite! I finished my homework and washed the dishes, and then it was lunchtime. Afternoon rolled in, and mother told me to go upstairs and fetch the spare sheets from the attic, because uncle Eddie is staying. I plodded up the endless stairs and creaked the door open. I saw a white sheet covering an old wardrobe. And I still can’t believe what I saw. A skeleton!
I read the riddle once more. “Two miles forward and what you’ll first see, is the house of your parents’ destiny.” I’m looking for my mother and father who were abducted by Balthazar Aaronovich, a name my village fears to say. After travelling the two miles I reach Balthazar’s lair. Maybe this is where he held them hostage, I thought. As I enter the abandoned domain I come across a room with skeletons attached to chairs with rope. Tears run down my face after reading a label on each of the chairs. “Joan” and “Andrew”. The names of my parents.
Dear Diary,
Today I walked into class, and I ran into Mr Pestosa , he did not flinch and he passed strait through me,STRAIGHT THROUGH ME !!!!! then he shivered. I tried to pinch my self but instead my hand passed through me and hit Iris Winters. I looked down my body was not familiar but I recognised my self I was the famous day of the dead icon,Catarina! Wait, i thought the day of the dead was skeletons.I am a skeleton. No how could this have happened?
““Ellie, come on let’s play marigolf!”That was my younger sister Tess, and marigolf is a game she made up, but, we only play it when we visit Longside bay “Ellie will throw the ball in 5,4,3,2,1, GO.”I threw the ball, and missed. It didn’t land in the tank, it landed at my sister. She fell… I’m sorry; I can’t write what just happened.”
I read aloud from my diary.
”Ellie, what’s it like seeing your sisters skeleton found at the bottom of Longside bay’s 13 feet long fish tank, 10 years after she died.”
I froze, stunned at the question, and plummeted into the water below.
I hated my sister and we were just playing a silly little game! “Calm down Georgia” I said out loud.
Let me explain,so today me and my sister were playing a stupid game…. I decided to lock her in the basement with no lights on, me and her used to say it was haunted but I guess it’s only me now! I left her for an hour maybe a bit more but when I came back she was gone all I saw was some bones and some blood. I never ment to do anything bad I promise you.
It was last week, the 29th November when a class of thirty children set of to a veterinary college. As they trekked through Camden, bitter wind stung their faces, whilst they clung to the sides of busy roads.
Reaching their destination the teacher opened the grand doors. Then walking down the carpeted corridors, an eerie draft gave the students a chill. Then all at once… The lights went out, and a strange screeching noise came from the glass cabinets, in which ancient skeletons were preserved. Then the atmosphere tightened, and skeletons from the unforgettable past emerged from the misted dark.
The smell struck me. Sweat. I grabbed a package that was leaning on a rock. Striking my pickaxe against a rock, I felt a sudden force pushing me back. I stumbled over another miner and fell. Everyone, including the miner and me, looked at where I had struck. A skeletal finger was pointing in my direction. The wall began to crack and other skeletal body parts emerged. Eventually, the bones floated towards us and grouped together forming a skeleton. It looked at me and pointed at me as well. Its jaw hung down and the skeleton made a screeching noise. Darkness.
Dear Diary,
I am sorry I haven’t written for soooooo long. It’s been as busy as ever. I only have 73 words left to explain so here goes…
My sister and I were going on a field trip a long time ago in Egypt, we wanted to do something naughty so we went into a tomb, In a piramid we weren’t ment to do it. Inside was dark and dusty. Suddenly we heard something, we turned around and there standing looking at us, it was a skeleton . We ran towards the door… LOCKED!!
I am now a skeleton, FOREVER!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOO…
be warned this is a true story. last night on the third of December I heard sounds, sounds like no other. Weird phantom sounds going on all through the night. well we have been moving house so it was probably just dad clunking all piles of boxes around well I’m not a deep sleeper so I thought maybe I can help him,or draw,
the third of December the night it happened
so up I get of to see… theres no one here. Well that was odd.
what was that. Death was staring right at me. Now all thats left is a skeleton. Beware this is true.
Today in school we studied human and animal anatomy. It was one of the most fascinating things I have ever heard. That animals have bones called atlases but humans don’t. Well back to the main story, the teacher asked me to clean up so I did. When I was just about to leave the lights went out I couldn’t see. Then I heard a strange voice coming from the cupboard I wanted to leave but was felt like I was pressured to go in there. Now I see why people in horror movies do this. The skeletons. It cant be…
I walked down the long, twisted corridors, my steps echoing off the cold stone walls. The oak trees rustling outside the window startled me. A twig snapped. Curious, I hurtled down the steps outside into the fresh morning air. Searching for any sign of life, I wearily checked the bushes. Nothing. Silence but the air in the trees. I knew I must return to my bunk before Miss Devlin rang the wake-up bell. Classes came and went. I looked on the notice-board and found a scrap of paper: ‘Dare to leave your room at midnight if you’re prepared to die’…
